That James Holmes is insane, few may doubt. Our gun laws are also insane, but many refuse to make the connection. The United States is one of few developed nations that accepts the notion of firearms in public hands. In theory, the citizenry needs to defend itself. Not a single person at the Aurora, Colo., theater shot back, but the theory will still be defended.

Holmes laid down tear gas first which incapacitated the people in the theater… Before he even pulled out his weapon. He could have pulled out a gun, a knife, a garrote, or even the bombs HE made which were waiting for the police when they arrived at his apartment.

Every weapon can be used to kill a person. People kill People.

I wonder if Aurora has a conceal/carry permit for it’s citizens (criminals/psychos don’t need or use one)? Let’s test that theory huh?

Oh wait… it’s already been tested: 2nd Amendment Visually Demonstrated.

FYI - 100 Million Americans who own firearms didn’t kill a single person yesterday.

You’re welcome.
